Competitive Running Part 2

I ran in race #2 of the summer this morning (another 5K)! I ran on my own this time and ran pretty strong...I finished in 26:42. BOOYAH!

To make things sweeter, I placed first in my age group (20 - 29). I got a cool little gold medal for it!

I only let one person pass me, but that's because he was a big dude and he paced his running like he was trying to kill himself!

Friends at the end: my same running buddy from the last race, Alicia, turned out to run today too. We ran separately this time, to each go at our own pace.

Next up: the Columbus 10K in June! I better get my butt in gear to train for that beast!
