Christmas Season

I'm such a sucker for the holidays.

I love all of the decorations. I sit and stare at all of the pretty, soft lights, take in the scent of the pine trees. I find all of the tabletop decorations charming. Jars of candy are at everyone's homes, and when you visit, you get to take in each home's decorating style.

During the holidays, everything seems softer and cheerier. Just more magical. :-)

I live for all of this anticipation! The whole month between Thanksgiving and Christmas, where the world counts down to Christmas....each day, I love going out into the town to see what is new and twinkling. :-)

The stores got a good start this year. Check out the cool displays at some of my regular stores I stop at:

Kroger's - the grocery store.

This is the gift shop at Der Dutchman's Amish restaurant (which is HUGE and AWESOME and makes me want to have enough days in my life to learn how to cook everything from scratch, make crafts, and raise a warm country home).

Ace Hardware's front floor display - no town is complete without an Ace Hardware!!
