You can gun it a little bit, throw your car into the corners, stare at the sky through your window, and no one is going to really scowl at you or shake their finger. The road curves up to meet your fog lights, and just between the perfect cadences of the beat of the music you are blaring, you can hear the engine of your car rev -- you can also feel it sending through the pedal into the bottom of your driving foot. A total connection, everything is timed just right.
The car jets into the next gear, your hands grip the steering wheel a little tighter...and two thoughts enter your mind: 1) This is a great song; and 2) YES, I love driving, I love cars.
